Senior Accountant

On-Site | Simi Valley | $75k-$85k

A well-established organization in Ventura County is seeking a Corporate Senior Accountant to support core accounting operations and financial reporting in a hands-on, collaborative environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong GAAP fundamentals who enjoys being close to the business and contributing across the full accounting lifecycle. What You'll Do

• Support month-end and year-end close, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Maintain general ledger accuracy across multiple accounts and schedules
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
• Support audits and compliance requirements
• Partner cross-functionally to improve reporting, controls, and accounting processes

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in accounting (CPA preferred, not required)
• 3+ years of progressive corporate accounting experience (Staff ? Senior level)
• Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge and hands-on close experience
• ERP system experience and strong Excel skills
• Experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit support
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
